For decades, women have continuously had to fight for a seat at the table, in the workplace, and in the world. In light of the passing of the most recognizable, memorable and honorable woman in history, the longest reigning monarch of Great Britain Queen Elizabeth II, it is important to celebrate not only Her Late Majesty, but what she did for women all over the world when becoming Queen. To do this, Eden Gallery introduces its Iconic Women collection filled with well-behaved women who seldom make history.

Iconic Women
Updated: October 05 2022
Her Majesty The Queen represented not only what was a clear demonstration of life-long commitment to her family and country, but also exemplified what it means to be a woman of such power, during turbulent times. In honor of her admirable work, we choose to admire the women who paved the way for generations to come in all respective fields, through art.

World-renowned muralist Eduardo Kobra, expresses his admiration for various iconic women whose legacies live on to this day. "Jewel in the Crown" is a vibrant mural featuring the late Princess Diana within a large glistening diamond. The Princess's legacy will never die through her polished crown and gleaming smile.

Similarly, "Clube 27," featuring Amy Winehouse, depicts yet another English figure who was beloved by many. The shockingly gifted singer caught the toxic eye of media attention, who were fixated on damaging her reputation for being a ‘woman out of control’. Her tragic passing awoke the world in a realization that the media won’t always tell the truth, but her resilient voice and beyond original music lives on in the hearts of the world.

Celebrity graffiti artist Alec Monopoly pays his tribute to iconic women through his artwork of actress, fashion icon and humanitarian, Audrey Hepburn. His artwork “Chanel Audrey Hepburn Sunglasses” shows Audrey’s long-time celebrated role in the classic movie, Breakfast at Tiffany’s.
