In addition to the honored guests and collectors that attended the event, Eden Fine Art offered 100 of it’s community of followers a chance to win an invitation to the event and to be one of the first to preview Alec Monopoly’s newest collection which included the new Icon Series of Robert De Niro, featuring the iconic actor in scenes from many of his roles throughout his career, such as Casino, Heat, Taxi Driver and more!
One of the world’s most famous and sought-after Graffiti Artists, Alec Monopoly’s work gained notoriety after the 2008 market-crash, and is now world-renowned for his worldview that explores society in relation to politics and economics in urban spaces. His work plays off of cartoon characters of wealth and influence such as Monopoly Man, Richie Rich, and Scrooge McDuck and invites viewers to question power and politics in America.
Alec Monopoly’s work appeals to enthusiastic fans and collectors spanning across all generations, from teenagers new to the art scene, to some of the most experienced art collectors. There was energy and the party was a huge success with over 750 attendees, and many of the 70 new artworks were sold!
