Accardi Meets Dalí
New Exhibition at EDEN SoHo — On View Until December 17th
EDEN proudly presents Accardi Meets Dalí, an extraordinary encounter between contemporary surrealist Angelo Accardi and the enduring visionary force of Salvador Dalí. This exhibition invites viewers into a realm where imagination expands beyond the visible, and where two artistic worlds, separated by time yet united by a shared pursuit of the surreal, unfold in dialogue.
In this exhibition, Angelo Accardi brings his cinematic compositions and symbolic language into a dynamic conversation with Dalí’s revolutionary visual universe. Accardi’s work examines the tension between humanity, space, and perception, often guided by the enigmatic presence of his signature ostrich. His surrealism is intentional, meticulously constructed, and shaped by a deep inquiry into the narratives that define contemporary life.
As Accardi reflects: “Salvador Dalí was a visionary, shaping even his own persona as a brand. My surrealism comes from different dynamics; it rejects Bretonnian automatism and follows a clear, intentional direction.”
Accardi Meets Dalí positions these two worlds side by side, Dalí’s boundless imagination and Accardi’s deliberate, narrative-driven surrealism, creating an immersive experience that celebrates the surreal, the sublime, and the power of artistic evolution.
